Status and conservation vistas of dhole and rare canids in Indochina

There is a lack of knowledge about dholes (Cuon alpinus) ecology and conservation status in the vast wilderness of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Research and conservation project of Cuon alpinus in one of these areas would be great, but the choice is yours.
Moreover, we have information about alleged striped wild dog, species unknown to science from north Laos and north Vietnam (Le Courrier du Vietnam, 1984). The biological samples are located in the centre for biological resources. The species seems to be ultra-rare. Inspiring would be to undertake the first expedition for searching for this creature.
