Recording available - Scaling up our NASA Forest Integrity Project!

On Wednesday 15 and Thursday 17, we hosted three webinars in English, French and Spanish on the NASA - Forest Integrity Project (FIP). Within this project, we develop high-quality spatial data on forest condition, human pressure, forest integrity, and forest connectivity; we analyze these data in ways relevant to users’ decision-making; and we create an accessible tool that allows decision-makers to use and analyze these data to make actionable national conservation and development planning decisions.

Representatives from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, of Viet Nam, of Costa Rica and of Colombia shared their experience in using this data, and showcase concrete applications at the national level to conserve tropical forest and report on biodiversity.
