The summary report provides an overview of the status of Privately Protected Areas in 30 countries throughout Latin America, Asia, the Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa. It summarizes the legal, policy, and institutional mechanisms used in these countries to establish and incentivize PPAs.

Integrated Planning for Climate Change and Biodiversity

Increases the capacity of key stakeholders to optimize planning to support biodiversity and climate change adaptation objectives, including through the effective engagement of protected area systems. Upon completion of the course you will be able to identify the interaction of climate change and biodiversity with land-use plans, identify their position in the planning and decision-making process, identify the ways to collaborate acrss national borders and much more. This course is available until 31 December 2019.
