    This best practice document provides a summary of the above guidance “Incorporating indicators into NBSAPs – Guidance for practitioners” produced by the UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre Policy (a web link to the full report follows the document text). This document is designed to provide guidance on the use of indicators in the preparation and implementation of National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs). In 2010, Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) adopted the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011- 2020.
