A new e-learning module has now been made available on "Incoporating and Utilising Spatial Data and Mapping in NBSAPs".
This free module is open to all and consists of two lessons, each of which takes approximately 45 minutes.
The module is based on the associated guidance document of the same name, which is available here: http://nbsapforum.net/uploads/822.pdf
It aims to support practitioners in producing updated NBSAPs that incorporate spatial planning considerations through the use of spatial data and mapping.
The guidance presents a range of options for incorporating spatial data and mapping
into revised NBSAPs, such that all countries, regardless of their access to data or technical capacity, can include mapped outputs within their new NBSAPs.
Please take the module which is available here: https://www.conservationtraining.org/mod/page/view.php?id=4817
Registration is free and takes just a few minutes, and then you can instantly access the module online or download it for use offline.
Translation into French and Spanish is underway and will be available soon.
