In this webinar, Gaya Sriskanthan, Stakeholder Engagement Expert, provides an overview of the Stakeholder Engagement Guidance for the 6NR project. John Scott, focal point for indigenous peoples and local communities at the SCBD, and Dr. Yolanda Teran Maigua, Education Coordinator of the Indigenous Women Network on Biodiversity from Latin America and the Caribbean, emphasize the importance of the role of indigenous peoples and local communities as stakeholders.

In this webinar, Dr. Jamison Ervin presents the Data Capture Tool and its functionalities. The tool takes the format of an Excel spreadsheet that you can download, fill and share with various stakeholders and partners to gather and verify data, before submitting in through the CBD Online Reporting Tool. Simultaneous translation for the live demo is offered in French and Spanish.

In this webinar, Dr. Jamison Ervin discusses the relevance of using Spatial Data to guide decision-makers and practitioners on biodiversity conservation. An emphasis is put on the NBSAPs and national reports associated. Scott Atkinson also introduces the tool MapX with a live demo, and presents different spatial data layers to participants.

The CBD Online Report Tool allows countries to enter data and prepare their national report before submitting them to the CBD before December 2018. In this webinar, Alexandre Rafalovitch is presenting the tool, with a specific focus on technical aspects and answers questions from Parties. Simultaneous translation was ensured in Spanish and French.

En febrero de 2018, el equipo del proyecto del Sexto Informe Nacional (CDB) organizó una serie de cinco sesiones del taller inicial, lanzando oficialmente el Proyecto 6NR con los 64 países apoyados por el PNUD/GEF, así como países apoyados por el PNUE.

En février 2018, l'équipe globale du Projet sur les Sixièmes Rapports Nationaux pour la CDB a organisé cinq sessions d'atelier de lancement officiel du projet, avec les 64 pays appuyés par le PNUD/GEF ainsi que les pays appuyés par le PNUE. 

In February 2018, the Sixth National Report to CBD project team has organized a series of five Inception Workshop sessions, officially launching the 6NR Project with the 64 UNDP/GEF-supported countries, as well as UN Environment-supported countries.
