This course aims to enhance your knowledge regarding the role of the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS). The course has five units, beginning with an introduction to the CMS Family; followed by the Institutional Framework and Funding of the CMS; Functions relating to Administration, Finance and Communication; Meeting of the CMS Family Decision-making Bodies; Implementation; and National Reporting. This Course is targeted to government officials charged with the responsibility for implementing CMS and its family of instruments - both those of many years´ experience and those recently appointed. It will take you about three hours to complete the entire module, excluding additional reading and websites. You are required to answer at least 80% of the assessment questions correctly in order to obtain a course certificate.
